DJI Dock 2

The new DJI Dock 2 features improved performance and a significantly smaller size. The DJI Dock 2 is equipped with a Matrice 3D or Matrice 3TD drone to perform tasks safely and easily.

The DJI Dock 2 was designed to be fast and easy to deploy. It weighs 33kg / 72lb, which although still heavy, does make it make it 75% smaller and 68% lighter than its predecessor. The Dock 2 can be transported by two individuals and setup in a matter of minutes. It’s lightweight and robust design make it a good choice for industry professionals looking to deploy drones across various environments and locations that were previously hard to reach.

Before deployment, the aircraft uses vision sensors to view the surrounding environment and quickly determine whether the area can receive strong GNSS signals. This new evaluation capability using vision sensors increases the efficiency of site selection and reduces turnaround time from 5 hours to 12 minutes.

The aircraft uses next-generation image recognition technology to accurately recognize location markers on the landing pad. Additionally, the landing pad features a new slide ramp centering design to ensure highly accurate landings.

DJI Dock 2 is equipped with multiple sensors such as a rain gauge, anemometer, and temperature gauge to monitor weather changes in real time. In addition to online weather forecasts, DJI FlightHub 2 can also issue warnings or cancel flight tasks accordingly, effectively reducing flight risks.

The DJI Dock 2 is being touted as a smart investment for enterprises looking to provide high-quality resources that are suitable across multiple industries. Due to its compact size, transportation and maintenance of Dock 2 is significantly low, allowing businesses to allocate time and resources elsewhere.
