The Bright Tangerine KASBAH Ātman Shoulder Rig is a new VCT-14 solution that offers a lot of functionality.
There are not many VCT-14 compatible shoulder rig solutions on the market and a lot of people still associate VCT-14 with broadcast ENG cameras.
Having a shoulder rig base for your camera that integrates with a VCT-14 tripod plate makes a lot of sense, especially if you need to often transition from tripod to the shoulder. If you are shooting documentary, news, or events, the KASBAH Ātman Shoulder would be a good solution to use with a variety of mid to larger sized digital cinema cameras.

It is based around the KASBAH Ātman Shoulder Rig Frame but it adds a KASBAH Ātman Shoulder Rig Wide Two-Axis Pad and a VCT-14 locking system on the bottom so it can be used directly with VCT-14 tripod plates.
The top of the KASBAH Ātman Shoulder Rig features an ARRI BUD compatible plate so you can slide on ARRI cameras directly. The BUD plate allows for up to 165mm / 6.49″ of travel for balancing your camera rig.
The KASBAH Ātman Shoulder Rig also features ARRI rosettes on either side and the ability to use 15mm rods.
