SmallRig has announced a new FUJIFILM X100VI Retro Cage. The cage is designed to protect the camera while providing multiple expansion interfaces.
The retro style cage mounts to the camera with a 1/4″-20 screw at the bottom and one side lock on the left, and the silicone pads prevent scratches.
The built-in ergonomic wooden grip provides a firm grip. The cage provides unobstructed access to the camera buttons, card slots, LCD screen, MCS switch, battery, etc.
The cage has multiple built-in interfaces: 1/4″-20 threaded hole, ARRI 3/8″-16 locating hole, cold shoe mount, strap hole, etc.
An Arca-Swiss quick release plate on the bottom allows direct mounting onto Arca-type tripods. There is a built-in double-headed wrench on the bottom for easy disassembly and assembly.
The cage comes with the exclusive hot shoe cover imprinted with the βFUJIFILMβ sound wave and the year of foundation as our tribute to FUJIFILM. It also comes with a red shutter release button to ensure a soft and comfortable finger touch.

The SmallRig FUJIFILM X100VI Retro Cage is now available to pre-order for $84.90 USD. It is expected to start shipping on February 27th.
