Samsung has launched its new T9 Portable Portable SSDs and the 4TB 990 PRO PCIe 4.0 M.2 SSD.
T9 Portable SSDT9 Portable SSD
The T9 is available in 1TB, 2TB, and 4TB capacities. As you would expect, its read and write speeds have also increased significantly over its predecessor the T7. The T9 has claimed sequential write speeds of up to 2000 MB/s, however, the sustained write speed is only up to 1000 MB/s.

They come in a rugged housing that also helps to prevent performance drops by dissipating heat more efficiently during sustained transfers. The T9 series features a USB 3.2 2×2 host connection. They are also claimed to be able to withstand extreme temperatures, vibrations, and up to 9.8-foot drops.
4TB 990 PRO PCIe 4.0 M.2 SSD
As well as announcing the new T9 series, Samsung has also released a 4TB version of its popular 990 PRO series of PCIe 4.0 x4 SSDs.

It is available with or without a heatsink Intelligent and it features TurboWrite 2.0 technology and 4GB of cache. The claimed sequential read/write speeds are up to 7450MB/s and 6900MB/s respectively. That equates to about a 14% improvement compared to the 2TB model and up to 55% faster than the 980 PRO series.
