Z CAM E2-M5G Global Shutter Cinema Camera

At IBC 2023 in Amsterdam, Z CAM announced its new E2-M5G Cinema Camera that features a global shutter and a 4/3″ CMOS sensor.

The camera can capture up to 5K 60fps, 4K 116fps (2.4:1), and 4K 94fps. It also features an interchangeable MFT lens mount and a dual gain ISO. Z CAM told me that the dynamic range is the highest out of any of the cameras they have released.

With a global shutter, the camera would be a good option for certain users who are shooting fast-moving scenes, sports, etc. where you don’t want any rolling shutter artifacts.

The Z CAM E2-M5G Global Shutter Cinema Camera is scheduled to start shipping at the end of October for $3,999 USD.
