Atlas Lens Co. Orion 28mm T2

At IBC 2023 in Amsterdam, Atlas Lens Co. was showing the newest addition to its Orion 2x anamorphic series, the 28mm T2.

The 28mm T2 is a nice addition to the lineup and it was a much-requested focal length from users of the Orion series. It fills the gap between the 25mm and the 32mm.

It has a close focus ability of 1.5′ / 46cm.

The 28mm T2 now joins the 21mm, 25mm, 32mm 40mm, 50mm, 65mm, 80mm, and 100mm to form a pretty comprehensive set. It is good to see Atlas Lens Co. continue to release new focal lengths in a series that has been around for many years now.

Atlas Lens Co. has also started to ship its Mercury series 1.5x anamorphic lenses out to customers.
