The Glyph Technologies Blackbox PRO RAID Desktop Drives are equipped with enterprise-grade 7200 rpm HDDs. They feature dual Thunderbolt 3 ports that are claimed to provide you with data transfer speeds up to 550 MB/s as well as daisy-chain capabilities, allowing you to connect up to five additional devices.

The Blackbox supports multiple RAID settings including 0, 1, JBOD, and SPAN. A single DisplayPort video output can streamline your desktop setup, giving you support for a single 4K monitor.

There are optional Ingest Hub / Card Readers so that you can have onboard CFast 2.0 and SD (UHS-II) card readers. You can also use the 10Gb USB-A port to connect fast SSD storage or charge peripherals.

They are enclosed in a rugged aluminum shell and they utilize an internal fan so they are stated to be able to withstand hours of operation, maintaining optimal thermal levels without affecting performance.

You can ensure your drives are safely secure with locking bay doors and they are pre-formatted for macOS and is Time Machine compatible right out of the box. You can also easily reformat them for use with Windows.
