SmallRig today released a new affordable follow focus with a lot of features. The SmallRig F60 Modular Follow Focus has a nice adjustable dampening feature so you can adjust the feel from butter smooth to quick.
It mounts with a 15 mm rod clamp, and is compatible with most lenses, including standard cine lenses using its 0.8 MOD gear, and it can be used with the silicone gear without lens gears. Great for stills lenses The kit includes an M0.8-43T gear for smoother focus pulls.
There is a 3-step A/B stop function to set direction backward or forward. This is great for switching from a Canon to Nikon lens that focuses in the other direction, or it can rotate 360° when controlling a zoom lens.
The following focus is made from durable composite and aluminum elements, featuring a wood-grain finish. The wheel is compatible with optional industry-standard whips and cranks and SmallRig accessories such as lens gears, single or dual rod clamps, and other 15mm mounting accessories.
