Lensbaby has unveiled a new Double Glass II Optic for Composer Pro II at CP+ 2023 in Japan.

Lensbaby Double Glass II Optic for Composer Pro II
The Double Glass II Optic is a follow-up to one of Lensbaby’s earliest and most popular optics. It is a 50mm optic with a 12-blade diaphragm and an adjustable aperture of f/2.5 to f/22. It can create a “sweet spot” of focus surrounded by an impressionistic blend of blur and bokeh. The aperture adjustment on the front of the optic also controls the size of sweet spot, which grows larger as the more it’s stopped down.

It comes with nine specialty magnetic disks, that feature apertures in shapes such as the five-pointed star or heart, that render out-of-focus points of light with the same shape as the aperture. The optic is compatible with all of Lensbaby’s current and legacy Optic Swap lens bodies and macro accessories.
