The Wooden Camera Micro Battery Plate for SmallHD Ultra 5 Series is made from anodized aluminum which ensures both durability and secure battery mounting. The plates are available in either AB Gold Mount or V-mount.
The reason this exists is that the SmallHD Ultra 5 doesn’t come with any battery plate. If you don’t want to power it via the Lemo, then this is your only solution.
This power plate features 2x D-Taps for accessory power at battery voltage (11-17V) and it is supported by a resettable 5.8A digital E-Fuse.
It attaches using captive mounting screws, and you then create a seamless, cableless integration with SmallHD’s Ultra 5. Should the user exceed the set current for accessories, only the accessory outputs are disabled leaving the monitor running normally. Once the current load has been reduced by either removing accessories or reconfiguring, the reset button can be pressed to enable accessory power again. It is compatible with both micro and full-sized cinema batteries.
