At IBC 2002, Vocas introduced its new line of dedicated ARRI Alexa 35 accessories. These accessories allow customers to use Vocas’ existing universal accessories, such as the USBP Sliding System and their newly developed Universal Top Handgrip.
ARRI Alexa 35 Top Plate
The dedicated ARRI Alexa 35 Top Plate is low profile, lightweight and offers a wide range of ¼” and ⅜” attachment points in addition to the unique integrated Level Marker.
If combined with the Vocas Universal Sliding Top Handle system (0350-1420) it allows the camera operator a better balancing of their camera while at the same time providing a lower profile. List price: € 315
Top Plate kit for ARRI Alexa 35
The Top Plate kit for the ARRI Alexa 35 features an integrated Level Marker and many industry standard ¼” and ⅜” threaded holes. It is equipped with a double 15 mm rail holder at the front for an alternative viewfinder, or lens motors attachment. List price: € 375
Camera adapter plate for ARRI Alexa 35
The Camera adapter plate for ARRI Alexa 35 was designed to ensure compatibility with the Vocas widespread USBP Sliding System.
This plate is mounted underneath the camera and enables the camera operator to change in an instance (and without tools) between Gimbal, Steadicam, 15mm and 19mm (shoulder) setups. List price: € 295
Universal Sliding Top Handle
The Universal Sliding Top Handle, as its name already implies, the Top Handle can not only be used with the ARRI Alexa 35, but also with some of Vocas’ already existing Venice accessories.
One of the advantages of this new Top Handle, if combined with the Vocas dedicated ARRI Alexa 35 Top Plate (0350-1391), is its low profile.
And due to the sliding mechanism, the Top Handle is adjustable in length. This allows the camera operator to balance the camera, regardless of the weight distribution on the front- and rear of their setup. At the same time, it does decrease the height of the ARRI Alexa 35 setup significantly. List price: € 395.
