Sennheiser has announced its new MOMENTUM 4 Noise-Canceling Wireless Over-Ear Headphones. These are high-end wireless headphones with a more modern look and feel than their predecessor, the MOMENTUM 3.

The classic metal look with exposed cabling from the MOMENTUM 3 has been replaced with a more modern and updated design that incorporates a fabric-covered headband and fold-flat earcups.
With wireless headphones battery life is important and nobody wants to buy a pair of headphones that they have to recharge all the time. The MOMENTUM 4 offers up to 60 hours of wireless, noise-canceling operation which is around 3.5 times longer than its predecessor.
The MOMENTUM 4 is claimed to offer exceptional audio quality and it utilizes large 42mm dynamic drivers. There is also a Smart Control app for iOS and Android so that users that can tailor the sound to their personal taste. The app also allows the user to make adjustments to EQ, EQ presets, and various sound-mode options, etc.
The noise-isolating over-ear earcups, along with adaptive noise-cancellation technology allow distracting ambient sounds to be filtered out. Sennheiser has gone a step further, and with the MOMENTUM 4’s adaptive engineering, cancellation is adjusted automatically based on your surroundings.
There are beamforming microphones in each earcup. When paired with your smartphone, they work together so that you can talk and listen when making phone calls or doing video chats. A feature called Transparency Mode, temporarily lets external sounds into the MOMENTUM 4 earcups, so that you can hear others and have conversations without needing to remove your headphones.
