At NAB 2022, Block Battery announced its new HCL-1600 high Capacity 1654wh Battery.
With more and more high output lighting sources such as the Aputure LS 600d Pro and Prolycht Orion 675 FS getting announced there is a growing requirement for battery blocks that can run lights such as these remotely at full power.
This 1654wh battery was designed primarily to power high-draw lighting fixtures. It can output 14V (15A), 22-32V (20A), or 48V (10A).
A block Battery like this could run something like the new Aputure LS 600d Pro which draws 720W for around 2 hours and 20 minutes at full power. If you wanted to run two at the same time you could get around 1 hour and 10 minutes at full power.

Large power capacity batteries like the Block Battery HCL-1600 are not cheap and you will have to pony up a lot of cash to purchase one. The Block Battery HCL-1600 realities for $4,345 USD. It is now available to pre-order. Battery solutions like these are more likely to be purchased by rental houses than individuals.
