Budget-priced 5″ HDMI monitors have flooded the market and you can pick up a pretty decent one for not a lot of money. The Portkeys PT5 II 5″ 4K HDMI Touchscreen Monitor is just $125 USD.

The Portkeys PT5 II 5″ 4K HDMI Touchscreen Monitor features a 5″ 1920 x 1080 500nit screen with a claimed contrast ratio of 1000:1. Like all small-sized monitors, it uses 10-bit (8+2FRC).

The monitor has an HDMI In and an HDMI Out. It supports Supports up to 4K DCI 23.98p and 4K UHD up to 29.97p signals.

The PT5 II weighs just 130g / 4.59 oz which makes it incredibly light and suitable for use on small-sized cameras.

AS far as powering options are concerned, it supports both Sony NP-F970/F960/F750/F550 and Canon LP-E6 batteries. It also has a 7.4-24V DC input. You can use Sony NPF or Canon E6 batteries to output 7.4V to power other devices.
There is a USB Type-A port that you can use to upgrade firmware and load up 3D LUTs. Portkeys also provides a 3.5mm headphone jack.

According to Portkeys, the PT5 II enclosure has been redesigned for better cooling with additional vents.

Maybe I am missing something, but I couldn’t see any differences between the PT5 II and the original PT5.
