Matthews Studio Equipment BM1 Bulb Mount for Astera NYX Bulb & Aputure B7c

Matthews Studio Equipment has announced an easy-to-use, grip-compatible solution to hold industry professional medium-sized dimmable LED bulbs such as the Astera NYX Bulb and the Aputure B7c.

The BM1 Bulb Mount offers a quick, practical, and inexpensive way of attaching these battery and ballast-operated bulbs to various types of grip equipment.

The mount works with E26 / E27 standard lamp socket bulbs. It has a 1/4″-20 female insert that allows you to fit a MicroGrip Pin, MicroGrip Rod, and other standard gear. What is nice is that the mount has been designed with a low-profile matte surface so that it doesn’t reflect glare.
