Fotodiox has announced its Canon EF to EOS R ND Throttle FUSION lens adapter. This adapter, as its name suggests, allows you to mount Canon EF and EF-S lenses on a Canon EOS R camera. You also get full auto focus, aperture control, and powered image stabilization, with the added addition of a built-in variable ND filter.
The built-in variable ND filter offers 2 to 8 Stops. What you need to be aware of with products such as this is that you will always have a minimum of 2 stops of ND as you can’t take the variable ND filter out.
The Canon EF to EOS R ND Throttle FUSION lens adapter weighs in at 167g (5.9 oz). It features an all-metal construction with chrome-plated brass mounts and it comes with a limited 2-year warranty.
