Vitec Group Acquires Quasar Science

The Vitec Group has acquired Quasar Science. Quasar Science is best known for being an innovator in linear and tubular LED lighting solutions.

Quasar Science will become part of the Group’s Production Solutions Division alongside Litepanels.

Quasar Science products have been widely used in large-scale film and television production and have been a popular choice with professional cinematographers, videographers, and photographers. Quasar Science was established in 2012 by Co-Founders Steven Strong, Evans Brown, Jay Yowler and Ray Gonzales. All four will remain with the company and continue to lead the team post-acquisition.

It will be interesting to see what this acquisition will mean for Quasar Science and what new products they will come out with in the future.
