Lexar 1066x SILVER Series SD/SDXC Memory Cards

Lexar has announced its 1066x SILVER Series SD/SDXC memory cards. These are being touted as high-performance professional memory cards that are available in both SDXC and microSD.

Lexar’s SILVER series memory cards have claimed read speeds of up to 160 MB/s (1066x) which makes them suitable for capturing Full-HD and 4K UHD video from select cameras.

The cards have UHS Speed Class 3 (U3) ratings for stills, Video Speed Class 30 (V30) for video capture, and they are available in 64GB, 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB capacities.

The memory cards feature a water, shock, vibration, and X-ray-proof construction. They also feature an Application Performance Class 2 (A2) rating for rapid downloading of apps to Android devices.
