Panasonic LUMIX BGH1 gets Netflix Approval

The Panasonic LUMIX BGH1 has been approved as a Netflix primary camera. This comes after the LUMIX S1H was approved last year.

As far as I am aware, the Panasonic BGH1 is the first M4/3 sized sensor camera that has received Netflix approval. It is also by far the most affordable camera to receive approval.

It is still baffling that you could use a Panasonic BGH1 as your main camera for Netflix original productions, but you couldn’t use an ARRI ALEXA.
