Nanlite claims that the light has a CRI of 98 and TLCI of 97.

Just like the rest of the Forza line, it uses the same Bowens mount so you can choose from a wide range of modifiers and accessories for the lights.

Powering Options

The Forza 200 has an interesting power caddy design that houses the AC adapter or 14.8V or 26V V-mount style batteries. This helps with cable management when using AC power as you don’t have an additional power brick to mount or leave on the floor.

When using 14.8V batteries, the maximum output is limited to 60%.

The caddy houses all of the controls and inputs including DMX control. It has built-in WiFi so you can use your phone to control the app or use the optional wireless remote.

There are 11 built-in effects including:

  • INT Loop
  • Flash
  • Pulse
  • Storm
  • TV
  • Paparazzi
  • Candle/Fire
  • Bad Bulb
  • Fireworks
  • Explosion
  • Welding

Compact design & quiet cooling

The power adaptor is fanless and a single fan is used in the fixture which can be turned off for absolute silence.

The fixture is quite compact, and can be angled at any angle using the 360-degree yoke.

The fixture itself only weighs 1.78kg (3.92lb) and measures in at 315 x 210 x 115mm.

The power adaptor and power unit comes in at 2.26kg (4.98lb)

Pricing & Availability

The Nanlite Forza 200 Daylight LED monolight retails for $699 USD
