The new SLR Magic 18mm f/2.8 cine lens is the latest design in the company’s full frame E-mount range. It joins the existing 25mm, 35mm, 50mm and 75mm offerings to round out the lineup.
Part of the family
It shares a lot of characteristics with the other lenses – 0.8mod gears for focus and iris control, round aperture for smooth bokeh and it’s physically similar in size. This makes it easier to use the set on a gimbal as you can swap lenses without having to rebalance your setup.
The lens features a useful 20cm close focus distance and a clickless aperture ring for smooth iris pulls.

The SLR Magic 18mm f/2.8 for Sony E-mount will be available at the end of October for $499 US.
