At the IBC Show in Amsterdam, Litepanels were showing their Lykos ENG Bi-Colour LED lighting kit. The kit is designed as a three fixture, portable lighting solution for the one man band who spends a lot of time travelling.
The kit consists of three Lykos Bi-Colour fixtures, three light stands, a small soft box, power cables, and three small Anton/Bauer L-series batteries and chargers, all in a rolling Pelican 1510 case.
The lights only draw 23 Watts and have a comparable output to the original Litepanels 1×1 fixtures. The kit weighs in at 12kg and the individual lights are just 0.5kg each.
The Lykos Bi-Color Flight Kit looks to be a good solution for one man operators who need a portable all-in-one lighting solution. The kit is available to purchase now for $1898 US.
