Cinegear 2016: Wooden Camera show new accessories for the RED Weapon and handy iPhone holder

At Cinegear Wooden Camera were showing a range of new accessories for the RED Weapon camera. They had a new wi-fi side panel that repositions the wi-fi’s position on the camera and allows the user to attach different antenna for better reception when a top plate is mounted on the camera. It is in direct response to users who wanted to use wi-fi control iOS apps like Foolcontrol.

Also new is a custom top plate which has pass-thru monitor connections which replicate those on top of the camera. You can attach a RED monitor or a trigger handle and still have no dangling cables.

Next there was a new handy V-wedge quick release plate option. This allows the user to attach a custom iPhone holder conveniently on the side of the camera. Mounted this way its ready to be grabbed whenever you need it. It looks like this can be used with any camera with the right mounting holes, not just RED.

The same V-wedge plate can also be used with other accessories and there is also a new custom plate to mount a Preston motor control unit.

A Preston motor control unit is one of the many things that can mount in the new system using a custom plate.
