The Sony FS5 has gained a reputation of being a great camera for run-and-gun shooting. But Korean company Seercam have come up with an interesting looking cage for users who want to ‘cinemize’ it.
Most other FS5 rigs on the market try to keep the slimline form factor of the original body, but the Cube Five from Seercam gives it a bigger profile. This allows you to mount a lot of accessories at the same time as protecting the camera.
Also on show at NAB was Seercam’s R2S cage for Sony’s a7S II and a7R II. This is a well designed cage with a clever HDMI cable clamp and also a handy thumb support.
