Cinegear 2015: Litepanels update Astra range, show off mini LED fresnels

Litepanels are demoing their Caliber LED fresnel fixture, which features a focusable lens and approximately 90 minutes of runtime when using Lithium AA batteries. It’s available in a kit that includes three heads, flexible mini tripods and a light stand. These look like a handy option for quick three-point interview setups or adding highlight accents to backgrounds if you’re lighting with a more powerful key.

The company’s range of Astra panels have also been updated – they’re available in kits of two or three heads that also come with stands and a hard case for secure storage and transport. There’s also an optional bluetooth module, which allows remote control of brightness and colour temperature via an iPhone app.
