NAB 2015: Marshall Electronics POV mini cams

POV cameras are a new line of equipment from Marshall Electronics and they brought an array of the tiny devices to Las Vegas this year. These small cameras are very flexible and have a wide variety of potential applications, from factual TV rig productions to ‘dunk cams’ for sports broadcasters and even onboard race cameras for F1 teams.

The mini cams transmit up to 1080p 60 video over HD-SDI and are available with interchangeable lens mounts with ruggedised and waterproof options. Required power is in a range from 5V-17V which gives you a lot of options for potential power sources.

Prices start at $500 and the cameras are available now.
