In a surprise move Blackmagic Design have today announced the immediate release of a new firmware for their 4K URSA camera that adds 150fps recording and 150fps HD recording, ProRes 444 XQ, dual CFast 2 RAW recording and support for a new v2 sensor.

Details of the new sensor and what it offers are not given. We expect to hear more about this at the NAB show that starts in Las Vegas on Monday. The Newsshooter team will be there to find out more.
