GoPro to add 240fps 720P and 60fps 2.7K to Hero4 Black in February

GoPro have announced new firmware coming out next month that promises to add great new features to their popular Hero4 cameras. For video shooters the most important will be 240fps 720P and 60fps 2.7K modes on the Hero4 black edition – welcome options for slow motion shooting.

Both the silver and black editions will gain an in-camera timelapse creation option as well as an auto-rotation function that means that you will no longer have to flip footage in post when you shoot with the camera upside down.

Next month GoPro will release some awesome new updates for the HERO4 Black and HERO4 Silver that will amp the camera’s performance, capabilities and convenience even higher. HERO4 Silver

Add HiLight Tags during playback – Now you can mark key moments both while recording video and playing back content on the built-in touch display to quickly find highlights for easy editing and sharing.
