Steadicam inventor Garrett Brown takes time at NAB to talk to me about the latest designs from Steadicam and how the new Merlin 2 is well suited to news and documentary shooting. The previous Steadicam Merlin was nice and compact but not really built tough for the rigors of the news shooter – the new Merlin 2 seems like a much sturdier option.
