dslrnewsshooter goes to NAB 2011 – full coverage from our team of shooters

Inside NAB 2011

NAB2011 – the world’s biggest broadcast show starts tomorrow and Dslrnewsshooter.com’s intrepid team of news cameramen have arrived in Las Vegas to bring you all the top highlights from the show floor. As ever we are focusing on all the new kit and software that is aimed at real world shooting and we will be posting video updates daily. Follow us here on the blog and on Twitter @dslrinformer.

Seppe all ready to roll in Vegas

Joining me in the team will be Seppe Van Grieken who works for Belgian TV station VRT – who is a former Getty Images photographer and also a top time lapse shooter. He regularly shoots ENG on a Panasonic P2, DSLR video on a 5DmkII and has recently purchased an AF101.

Johnnie Behiri

Also shooting for us is Vienna based BBC freelance shooter Johnnie Behiri who was one of the earliest adopters of DSLR for shooting TV news. Johnnie also has experience shooting documentaries, commercials and music videos.

And of course I will be here myself too to ask all the questions and try and make sense of it all. If you are at the show please come and say hi. We are planning a meet up of news shooters on wednesday lunchtime at a venue tba – stay tuned.
