Second Wave RoboLift Tripod

Second Wave

Second Wave’s RoboLift Small and RoboLift High tripods offer motorized height adjustment and network connectivity. RoboLift looks to be a good match for the OBSBOT Tail 2 and other similar PTZ cameras.

RoboLift has been developed for PTZ cameras, teleprompters and automated production environments. Using the Second Wave Robotic Data Box, height adjustment can be integrated into a central control system via VISCA. Integration with Bitfocus Companion is on the way.

The Second Wave RoboLift Small is a compact camera tripod with motorised height adjustment, an integrated wheeled base and a payload capacity of 15 kg. The camera height can be adjusted between 82 and 132 cm using the supplied remote control.

The base can be folded for transport and storage. The tripod weighs 6.7 kg and has a transport length of 70 cm. An independent power supply is optionally available.

With the separately available Second Wave Robotic Data Box, the height axis can be integrated into a network via VISCA and controlled centrally.

The fourth controllable axis for PTZ cameras PTZ cameras control pan, tilt and zoom. Different shooting heights can be selected without directly adjusting the tripod. This allows the camera to be adapted to seated or standing people as well as changing shot compositions.

Conventional cameras can also be used, but only the height is adjusted by motor.

Network control provides the basis for integration into central control systems as well as open and closed AI systems. The specific functionality depends on the respective software and integration. AI-based image analysis is not included.

Integration with Bitfocus Companion is also planned.
