The new RØDE DS3 is a follow-up to the DS2, and it has been redesigned with a higher load capacity, improved adjustability, and better stability.
It could be used for podcasting, streaming, recording music, etc. It was designed to support microphones, cameras, lights, smartphones, and other accessories.

The DS3 features a heavy base designed to balance and support microphones weighing up to 3.3 lb, so there’s no need for clamps or mounting equipment. The boom arm offers two adjustable pivot points, allowing you to easily position your mic for optimal results. Cable management guides are provided to keep your setup neat and tidy. A 1/4″-20 adapter and a 5/8″ baby pin adapter are also provided, allowing you to mount a wide range of different mounts.
