Kondor Blue has announced a Riggable HDMI to Dual SDI Converter, which is a new HDMI-to-SDI solution that combines dual 3G-SDI outputs with secure mounting designed specifically for professional camera rigs. It would be a good solution for use with cameras that only have a single HDMI output, like the new Sony FX5.
The converter takes a single HDMI input and delivers two simultaneous 3G-SDI outputs, allowing camera operators to send the same video signal to both an on-camera monitor and wireless video transmitter without requiring an additional splitter.
