A single receiver can pair with up to 4 transmitters simultaneously. This capability allows users to build a flexible, cost-effective setup by mixing and matching Mic Mini, Mini 2, and Mini 2S. The Mini 2S Transmitter also pairs with the Mic Series Mobile Receiver.

There are three combos available:

DJI Mic Mini 2S (2 TX + 1 RX + Charging Case) includes a charging case, one receiver, and two transmitters, suitable for two-person audio recording and providing extended battery life.

DJI Mic Mini 2S (1 TX + 1 RX) includes one receiver and one transmitter, suitable for single-person audio recording of individual creators.

DJI Mic Mini 2S (1 TX + 1 Mobile RX + Charging Case) includes one DJI Mic Mini 2 Charging Case (1 TX + 1 Mobile RX), one DJI Mic Series Mobile Receiver, and one transmitter. It is suitable for solo creators and other single-person audio recording scenarios with smartphones.

The DJI Mic Mini 2S Transmitter has approximately 14.5 GB of built-in storage and does not support external storage. The recording duration is as follows:

  • 24-bit: approximately 28 hours.

You can connect the receiver to a Sony camera via the DJI Mic Series Camera Adapter or a 3.5mm cable and unlock what DJI calls Quadraphonic mode, which essentially means it can output four independent audio channels.

DJI Mic Mini 2S supports the DJI OsmoAudio connection ecosystem. The transmitter supports direct connection to Osmo Pocket 4P, Osmo Action 6, Osmo Nano, Osmo 360, and other ecosystem devices without a receiver.

It is recommended to use a 5V/2A charger to charge the DJI Mic Mini 2S transmitters and receiver, and a 5V/3A charger to charge the charging case. It takes around 70 minutes to fully charge the transmitters and receiver, using the DJI Mic Mini 2S Charging Case. It takes around 2 hours to fully charge the DJI Mic Mini 2S Charging Case, and about 1 hour to fully charge the DJI Mic Mini 2 Charging Case (1 TX + 1 Mobile RX).
