HOVERAir VERSA

The HOVERAir VERSA is a modular pocket camera that was designed to bridge the gap between handheld filming and aerial photography. It is almost like a hybrid Osmo Pocket and an FPV drone.

It features a 3-axis mechanical gimbal for stabilized handheld footage, and then it can transform like Optimus Prime into an autonomous flying camera by attaching a lightweight propeller module. This is something that I would have liked to have seen DJI do.

We have all seen movies and TV shows where a larger camera and gimbal combination have gone from being used on the ground to taking flight (think Netflix’s Adolescence), and the HOVERAir VERSA is like a Mini Me version of that type of concept. The device is built to switch from a handheld configuration to flight in just seconds.

According to the company, the HOVERAir VERS utilizes advanced AI for subject tracking and framing assistance. It also features 10 intelligent automated flight modes.

It also comes with a feature that allows the camera to perform an automated 360-degree flight to capture and reconstruct scenes into interactive 3D images.

The company claims that it features an industry-leading image processor, and it can capture high dynamic range footage and perform well in low light conditions.
