Bright Tangerine has unveiled a new OpenRig ecosystem as well as accessories for the Sony FX5. The Sony FX5 accessories range from full 15mm LWS rigs to minimalist cage systems.
OpenRig Ecosystem
The all-new OpenRig ecosystem expands Bright Tangerine’s previous universal accessories.
The new OpenRig Rail (160mm) (£107.50) is a universal base, with Manfrotto and DJI mounting capabilities on the base and an innovative NATO rail system on top. Users can mount camera accessories directly to this baseplate, instead of the camera body.
The OpenRig System was designed to be an all-in-one solution for rigging. The range works across multiple industry-standard formats with universal accessories such as 15mm LWS rod brackets, lens supports, and the new Halo Universal Cage OpenRig (£107.50).

FX5 Accessories
Bright Tangerine’s line of FX5 accessories was designed to conform to the low-profile camera body. There are Multiple Top Plate options that allow users to use the detachable EVF or XLR handle without needing to compromise on rigging. The side and bottom of the camera have dedicated plates that help maximize accessory mounting options while keeping the FX5’s footprint to a minimum.
The LeftField Mini Kit offers a 15mm LWS setup, or users can strip the rig back to a clean wraparound cage.

Availability
The Bright Tangerine Sony FX5 range is now available to pre-order, with
shipping expected to align with the Sony FX5 release date.
The OpenRig system is also available to pre-order with an initial series of addons, with further accessories coming soon.
