DJI has released the findings of its most comprehensive independent security assessment of drone systems to date. This assessment was done by U.S.-based cybersecurity firm OnDefend.

According to DJI, the audit found no evidence of data transmission outside the U.S., unauthorized remote access, unexplained RF emissions, or supply chain tampering.

DJI states that independent scrutiny and technical transparency are essential to informed policymaking and that they hope these findings will contribute meaningfully to the Federal Communications Commission’s review process as their appeal continues.
