Treefort’s Ultra Camera Crash Housing is a rugged, modular camera enclosure built to help protect high-value camera systems during crashes, stunts, rollovers, flying debris, and other high-impact environments.

It was designed by Treefort for high-impact camera work where protection, access, and adjustability all matter. These custom housings are available in multiple sizes and offer tool-free adjustments, impact-resistant materials, and flexible configuration options to suit a wide range of shooting scenarios.
Camera Viewing & Access:
- Rear window to view the camera, LCD screens and monitor batteries.
- Top window to view camera settings and controls.
Base & Pan-Tilt Yoke:
- Integrated base with yoke allows for smooth pan and tilt control:
- 360º pan with lock.
- Can tilt up to full vertical with lock.
- Grip handles allow tool-free pan/tilt adjustments on the fly.
- Base includes a bubble level and (4) leveling feet for direct placement on surfaces.
- 3/8”-16 rigging points on base provide versatile rigging and mounting options.
Power & Internal Adjustability:
- Internal adjustable leveling plate allows camera height adjustments for perfect lens alignment.
- Gold mount battery plate with P-Tap for power; removable and repositionable (inside or outside housing via pre-drilled holes).
Cable Management & Modularity:
- (2) large cable passthrough ports on the rear (for power, video, etc.).
- Lid secured with (4) thumb screws – tool-free, quick removal.
- Carry handle on top for easy transport.
Modular Configurations:
- Optional matte box option includes (2) 15mm rod starters for mounting.
- Crash housing can be removed from base and replaced with a custom camera yoke plate for standard camera use with pan/tilt functionality.
