Motorized Precision EVO Updates First Look at NAB 2026

At NAB 2026 in Las Vegas, Motorized Precision was showing a whole new array of software updates for its EVO robot.

EVO is powered by MP Studio, the company’s intuitive motion control software designed for filmmakers, content creators, and studios. At NAB 2026, we got a very comprehensive rn through of all of the new software features that were designed to make setup and execution a lot faster and more intuitive.

Motorized Precision has added an MPAI (Motorized Precision AI) assistant to the EVO that lets you do some pretty impressive things. You can literally talk to the EVO software, and it can create moves based on what you tell it to do. The company has also added Vision, a system that will let the system face and object track subjects with very impressive accuracy. You can also place identifier trackers in your scene to assist the robot when it makes moves.

There is also the ability to load up music into the software, and then it will analyze the beats, and you can then get EVO to make moves in time with those beats, which is a great feature if you are doing music videos or putting anything to music.
