PortKeys is showing an updated LEYE IV EVF at NAB 2026. The new version has an all-new design but looks really similar. Improvements have been made to the body to better seal the loup and prevent dust.
The eyecup is all new. It features a silicon material that is much more comfortable than the previous two models, which used foam and pleather.
The LEYE IV EVF supports both HDMI and SDI, so you no longer have to choose one over the other.
The screen inside and the optics are the same as in the former version, as are assist tools such as false color and peaking. For powering the EVF, it uses a Canon LP-E6 type battery or a DC barrel power cable.
Price & Availability
The Portkeys LEYE IV EVF will be in the $500 USD range and available in June 2026.
