The Freefly Ember now features Leica L-Mount support, so you can unlock a huge lens library when shooting high-speed footage.

Freefly is now a member of the L-Mount Alliance. This camera ships with L-Mount already installed and ready to work with L-Mount lenses out of the box.

The Leica L-mount version of the Ember S5K costs $19,995 USD. Orders placed today won’t start shipping till mid-late June 2026.

The latest 3.0 firmware also offers higher frame rates, delivering 10 percent more frames per second in 4K on Ember S5K. There is also swappable media via the Media Expander and pre-record functionality.
