Matthews Studio Equipment has introduced a new Hollywood Baby Pin Arm. It features a 1/4″-20 tapped, stainless steel baby pin with a knurled undercut integrated directly into the grip arm.
A 1/4″-20 tapped, stainless steel 5/8″ baby pin has been added to the end of the Hollywood Grip Arms, creating inverted mounting opportunities and expanding the versatility of the iconic Matthews C-Stand.
The knurl prevents unwanted fixture rotation and slippage under load, and the undercut captures the fixture should it loosen during use. It provides a secure, stable connection for a wider range of accessories and fixtures. Additionally, it supports inverted mounting applications safely.
The new Hollywood Baby Pin Arm comes standard in sliding leg and turtle base C Stand models. It is not sold separately at this time. The new upgrade is available across the 756 Sliding Leg and Turtle Base Century Stand models, both 20″ and 40″ sizes.
