Middle Control 3.2 is a major update to the Middle Things software designed for unified remote camera control, specifically for Blackmagic and Sony cameras. This latest update provides improved performance, deeper integration, and professional multi-camera production tools.

Standard Version (Free) Upgrades
- Refined UI for faster access to image settings like contrast, saturation, and ND filters.
- New mapping options for gamepads, including universal start/stop recording for all cameras and cycling between camera IDs.
- Wired USB support for Sony DualSense controllers for lower latency.
Pro Version Highlights
- Live View & Multiview– Enables control of Blackmagic cameras over wired LAN using SRT
- Automatic Discovery: The app now automatically detects Sony and Blackmagic cameras on the network, removing the need for manual pairing (3:51 – 4:20).
- Wireless Control: Adds support for the BitPart system for reliable long-distance wireless Ethernet control.
- Replicate Settings: A new tool to synchronize parameters like gain, white balance, and iris across multiple cameras.
- Gimbal & Controller Improvements: Full support for DJI RS5 and enhanced focus tracking modules. New “Expert Mode” for DJI gimbals that utilizes gimbal-specific settings like joystick speed and end-points. Expanded support for VISCA over IP controllers, including AV Matrix and Sovic units.
- Workflow Automation: Enhanced Companion integration and an updated API/SDK allowing for more complex automation regardless of the currently active camera.
