SHAPE has announced new On Set Empty Sandbag and On Set Sandbags. The SHAPE On Set Sandbags are designed to secure lighting, grip, and camera equipment and they are said to feature a durable construction and practical on-set features.
The On Set sandbags are available in two versions:
Features two zippered pouches allowing you to insert sand, steel shot, or other counterweight materials as needed.
Comes pre-filled with steel shot pouches for ready-to-use stability on set.
They are built from rugged water-resistant PVC sandwiched cloth, and SHAPE claims that they offer excellent durability and performance in both studio and outdoor environments.
Both models include heavy-duty zippers, reflective safety bands, a steel carabiner for fast rigging, and reinforced dual handles for secure handling.
You could use them for stabilizing light stands, C-stands, boom arms, tripods, and grip equipment.
