What’s new

  • Dual mounting system– A Bowens S-mount for universal compatibility and Profoto’s updated heavy-duty front tube. This unlocks access to an extensive range of modifiers, from softboxes to hard reflectors.
  • New MaxiZoom Reflector– This is now included in the kit, increasing output by up to 2 f-stops.

The L1600D Mono-LED combines a lightweight, compact form with HydroCTech, Profoto’s ballast-free cooling technology.

Key features

  • World-class power-to-size ratio thanks to our patent-pending cooling technology HydroCTech
  • Boost reflector included, which gives x10 the light output
  • Completely flicker-free at any frame rate
  • Power efficiency of 97%
  • TLCI: 97 and CRI:97 and SSI: 77
  • Simple, intuitive user interface with large, high-resolution display

Intended for use in high-end video productions, this 1600W point-source LED fixture is claimed to give you accurate colors and exceptional flicker-free brightness at any frame rate. A unique, patent-pending HydroCTech cooling system handles heat from the LED and its power electronics to ensure longevity and silent operation.

The L1600D was the first light in the Profoto all-new Mono-LED category. According to the company, 97% of its electric input creates light output, which is at least 20% more efficient compared to similar fixtures with an individual ballast and light head.
