Flanders Scientific has announced new firmware 3.2.03 for its XMP and XMP C Series. This update introduces an HDR False Color mode, along with additional features.
New Features
- Added: HDR False Color Mode. When the monitor is set to PQ EOTF, the LUM Coloring False Color mode will automatically switch to a PQ Nits-based scale instead of percentage.
- Updated: Waveform scopes will now automatically switch between PQ Nits and Percentage-based scales based on the configured EOTF on the monitor. If set to PQ Nits, Waveform graticules will be shown as nit levels. If set to any other EOTF, the waveform will automatically revert to a percentage-based scale.
- Added: More pronounced visual indication that Clear Panel Noise (CPN) is running on XMP C and XMP series monitors. A green tally light will now steadily flash when CPN is activated and running; it will stop flashing as soon as CPN is complete.
