Canon USA has posted up an overview of its RF F 1.4 L lenses. These are full-frame, lightweight prime lenses that are suitable for both stills and video.
In the video, they explore Canon’s RF F 1.4 L-series prime lenses, which feature a uniform size and manual aperture and focus rings.
The Canon RF F 1.4 L lens series consists of the following lenses:
- RF 20mm F1.4 L VCM ($1,899 USD)
- RF 24mm F1.4 L VCM ($1,549 USD)
- RF 35mm F1.4 L VCM ($1,549 USD)
- RF 50mm F1.4 L VCM ($1,449 USD)
- RF 85mm F1.4 L VCM ($1,649 USD)
The lenses effectively all have the same dimensions (3 x 3.9″) and weight (1.4 lb), and they also share a 67mm front filter ring diameter.
In addition to the manual aperture ring, the lenses have a customizable Control Ring and Function Button, which can be programmed to control a range of shooting settings.
All the focal lengths feature L-Series level durability and weather resistance for working in inclement conditions.
