Diachromie is an OpenFX plugin that can be directly integrated into DaVinci Resolve or Baselight. The company states that it goes beyond LUTs and film emulation, with an interface that breaks down a look identity into a series of fine-tuned parametric tools.

According to the company, their color science and color-managed workflows allow you to shape your vision across formats and delivery specifications.

Diachromie is solely based on robust algorithms, rather than LUTs or premade filters. With each setting, users have direct control over the math that develops their image. This parametricity applies limitless, smooth, and non-destructive transformations to your curves and 3D cubes.

Diachromie’s transformations are designed to reproduce film’s color response, and users can dial in the density of saturated colors and balance the color cast of the neutral axis.

Users can export their parametric values at any point and tailor their own personal library. You can then load, edit, and build from your experience project after project.

Diachromie comes with built-in presets, designed to cover a variety of visual identities. Users can share presets with other Diachromie users and export a display LUT.

HAL Picture Diachromie is a subscription model, but it can also be bought outright. With so many OpenFX plugin film emulation options already on the market, it faces very stiff competition.
