AJA has released IP25-R, a high-performance 4K SMPTE ST 2110 to 12G-SDI/HDMI Mini-Converter that makes it easier to get ST 2110 signals into baseband equipment for monitoring, routing, playback, and more.
The AJA IP25-R is a next-generation IP Converter that bridges SMPTE ST 2110 IP video networks with traditional SDI and HDMI infrastructures. It was designed for professional broadcast, production, and live event workflows.
The IP25-R offers dual 10/25 GigE network ports, 4x 12G-SDI BNC outputs, and 2x HDMI 2.0 outputs, delivering video up to 4K DCI (4096x2160p60) with ultra-low latency.
The IP25-R offers powerful conversion capabilities with full SMPTE compliance, making it ideal for integration into hybrid SDI/IP facilities. De-encapsulate ST 2110 video, audio, and ancillary data with frame-accurate synchronization and output them via baseband SDI and HDMI for confidence monitoring, playout, or routing.
The IP25-R features dual SFP28 cages for ST 2022-7 protection switching, ensuring uninterrupted signal delivery across redundant IP networks. This makes the IP25-R an ideal choice for critical applications such as network operations centers (NOCs), OB trucks and remote production, live event monitoring, stadium and in-venue AV systems, and broadcast control rooms.
Users can configure the IP25-R through an intuitive web browser interface, with options for both in-band control over the media network and out-of-band control via the RJ45 1 GigE port.
