Canon C300 Mark II gets a further price drop

Canon has quietly dropped the price of the C300 Mark II by another $500 USD. This comes just two weeks after the price dropped from $8,999 USD to $7,999 USD.

The C300 mark II (at least in the USA) can now be purchased for $7,499 USD. The C300 Mark II is still a very capable camera, but with the recent announcement of the C300 Mark III, I am not sure whether I would buy one even at this reduced price.

I would personally spend the extra $3,500 USD as the C300 Mark III looks to be a big improvement over the Mark II. However, $3,500 USD is still a lot of money and if your clients are happy with the C300 Mark II it may make a lot more financial sense, especially in these difficult times.

Would you consider a C300 Mark II at this price? Let us know in the comments section below.
